Rose quartz immersion
I was in Melbourne recently for the Australian Homeopathic Association national conference. On the Sunday afternoon, Peter Tumminello spoke about the 13th remedy in his gem immersion system, rose quartz. He has been using this remedy for a while now and has built a picture about the indications for it’s use from his cured cases. Below are some notes from his presentation.
A little bit about rose quartz.
Rose quartz is a type of quartz which exhibits a pale pink to rose red hue. The colour is believed to be due to trace amounts of titanium oxide or manganese. It is fairly common and not popular as a cut gem because of it’s cloudy and fissured appearance. It is often carved into figures or shapes like hearts.
Preparation of the remedy.
Like all the gem immersions, Peter used a natural, uncut piece of rose quartz. It was immersed in distilled water and exposed to sunlight and moonlight over 24 hours. We potentised it in the pharmacy where it is available up to a 200c potency.
Keynotes of rose quartz. (Observations from cured cases)
Strong feelings of love, very intense, telepathic connections with loved one.
Idealised love – ‘looking at the world through rose tinted glasses’
Unrequited love, inappropriate, unobtainable.
Emotional upsets in family. Depression, guilt and negativity around family. Conflicts.
Responsibility for others.
Impatience, only wants to tend to meaningful things.
Dreams – sexual (lascivious, caring, sweet), emotional (flood damage).
Physical symptoms – craving sweets, chocolate, cakes and biscuits. Post nasal drip with sore throat. Grey discolouration of tongue. Irregular heartbeats, ’emotional heartache’. Great heaviness.
Peter also uses colour preference in his practice and has found that rose quartz has an affinity to all pinks across the range. The remedy also has a relationship with deep orange.
Peter will be publishing a book soon describing this remedy in a lot more detail with proving symptoms and cured cases.
